I requested my 1099G from this site several times to no avail.
I usually file my taxes in early February because I always get a refund. I am not smart enough to figure out how to pay the government just a little bit of money on April 15 instead of letting them hold my big money all year and then wait for them to refund me after I file taxes the following year. At least this way the government knows they will get paid and get my taxes filed. Good for them.
Last year, 2020, I was unemployed for two months and received unemployment payments from Florida. Mid-January 2021 I received an email from Florida telling me that my 1099G was mailed to me and that I could also download a copy from the Florida website by clicking on the 1099G button in the main menu. I was glad because I needed that 1099G to file my taxes in early February as planned.
By the middle of February, I still had not received my 1099G in the mail and I went to the Florida website several times looking for my 1099G. The emails I received said that all I needed to do was select the 1099G button on the main menu. The 1099G is not on the main menu and it does not exist anywhere on the Connect site under my login. No way to download my 1099G, I searched every page on the entire site. I also called and got a recording saying too busy now call back next week. Florida spent $73 million in 2013 for this website and the 1099G download feature does not work. Now Florida says it will spend another $77 million to fix it. I followed all the links and went to all the designated Florida websites to request my 1099G. Nowhere to download it and it never arrived in my snail mail USPS at home. I went to the above website and requested a duplicate several times. Each time I received an email telling me the request is completed and to login to the Florida Connect site and download my 1099G from the main menu. No 1099G download button anywhere. lots of people got stuck because they had a 1099G button but the 1099G PDF was a pop-up window and they had pop-ups blocked. $73 Million in 2013 and $77 in 2022 to fix it. Wow!
So, I had my research department (duckduckgo – bing – google) find the data for a Florida 1099G that I needed to file my taxes. Then I filed my taxes at the end of March. Refund on the way. Here is a link to the IRS:

It does not pay to get all bent out of shape over something that is going to take time to resolve. Do the best I can for today and then wake up and do it again tomorrow.
Its’ Only Money
Focus on the Spiritual and Less on the Material. If I can see it, touch it or buy it, it has little to no real value.

Florida and the IRS. I need to accept them exactly the way they are, but I don’t have to like them. Dr. Paul whose judgment I really respect wrote this: “And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation—some fact of my life —unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God’s world by mistake”.
